Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a space designed for reflection, healing, and growth - a place where you can talk openly about what’s been weighing on you without judgment or pressure.

In your first few sessions, Zoe will take time to get to know you, understand what’s been challenging, and clarify what you’d like to work toward. From there, sessions are guided by your goals and paced to fit your comfort level.

Over time, you’ll begin to notice shifts in how you think, respond, and relate to yourself and others. The process is collaborative, supportive, and built around helping you make sustainable changes that last.

With couples therapy, the first session is to get to know you both as a couple, and then I have one individual session with each of you, and then I have you fill out the Gottman Questionnaire, and then we begin the work.

When there is an affair or crisis, the approach is a bit different.

  • Zoe’s approach blends evidence-based techniques with a warm, collaborative style that helps you build both insight and practical tools.

The goal is not just symptom relief, it’s helping you understand yourself more fully, so change feels authentic and lasting. The goal is that you lead a more fulfilled life, where your values align with your actions, and in doing so, things fall into place. Small changes lead to a larger shift.

  • Getting started is simple. You can schedule a free consultation directly through Zoe’s website or contact her assistant at admin@raiatherapy.com.

Once you connect, Zoe and her office manager Hannah will schedule your initial consultation phone call and then your first session if you decide to work with us.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out, starting is the first step toward feeling supported and making positive change.
